Telemarketing via Cell Phones

 I suspect most of you are already aware of what follows but if this message keeps just one person from receiving unwanted calls, it will have been worth my time.

 All cell phone numbers are being released to telemarketing companies tomorrow and you will start to receive sale calls.
 
 YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR THESE CALLS
 
 To prevent this, call the following number from your cell phone:
 888-382-1222.  It is the National DO NOT CALL list. It will only take a minute of your time. It blocks your number for five (5) years. You must call from the cell phone number you want to have blocked. You cannot call from a different phone number.
 
 HELP OTHERS BY PASSING THIS ON TO ALL YOUR FRIENDS.. It takes about 20 seconds.

Casino Revenue Property Tax “Relief”

Harrisburg politicians promised that casino revenue would supply significant property tax relief for homeowners.  In May 2005, Governor Rendell said, “As I traveled across the state in my time as a candidate and as Governor, I learned there is no greater concern among Pennsylvania citizens than relief from burdensome property taxes…I believe that we, in Harrisburg, who worked so hard on Act 72 remain steadfast in a common goal – providing property tax relief for all Pennsylvania homeowners.”
 

Tell Governor Rendell and the House Leadership, Speaker Dennis O’Brien, Majority Leader William DeWeese and Minority Leader Sam Smith  that you are still waiting.  Tell them that you want real, permanent, and complete school property tax relief!  (Click on each for email.)
